/PORN FLAKES

"Fearless."
-Palomar Theatre

A clowning show that interrogates Mr. Kellog (yes, the Corn Flakes man). Kelloggs’ original intention for Corn Flakes was that they would suppress people’s sexual urges. He taught that masturbation and sexual thoughts were unholy and would cause disease. So, he designed the least sexy breakfast there is...flakes of corn. Not only this, but he also castrated young men and sent electric shocks to the clits of young women to ensure that they would not self-pleasure.

Yeah.

ELOINA and Emily Redpath (together, Spilt Milk) throw two fingers up to repressive sex ed lessons, shame around masturbation and vow to unapologetically act on every single urge. Over a bowl of Kellogg’s corn flakes, they spring from the mundane to the wonderfully exquisite, celebrating sex and arresting the constraints that police our bodies.

Performed at: Camden People's Theatre (2019)
